Mr. Barrow has been studying and practicing structural engineering for the past 36 years. Mr. Barrow is the president and founder of Liebl & Barrow Engineering, Inc. located in Fort Myers, FL. Liebl & Barrow Engineering specializes in structural design, inspections, and restoration. Since our inception in 1998, we have worked on over 2,300 projects. We have designed many structures including residences, high rise condominiums, churches, schools, offices, and industrial facilities. Our designs have included coastal construction projects involving high winds, wave loads, flooding, and scour. Prior to founding Liebl & Barrow Engineering, Inc., Mr. Barrow worked as a structural engineering for a large international engineering company. In addition to being a project leader, Mr. Barrow also led a quality assurance program for a $200,000,000 project and led the engineering development program for concrete construction including specifications, design procedures and mix design. Mr. Barrow has provided investigations and repair specifications for a variety of structural issues caused by fire, wind, vehicular impact, subsidence, water, insects, improper design, and faulty construction. Mr. Barrow has worked on over 80 projects involving insurance claims. He has also testified as an expert witness in court, by deposition, in mediation, and in non-binding arbitration. Mr. Barrow is a licensed Professional Engineer in five states and a licensed Threshold Inspector in the State of Florida that allows him to inspect large or high occupancy structures. Mr. Barrow is a member of an urban rescue team with over 200 hours of training by the FEMA/US Army Corps of Engineers.
