Dr. Mary Best is a Clinical Neuropsychologist in the Pediatric Neuropsychology Clinic at Yale. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Child Study Center, at the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Best specializes in the cognitive assessment of the effects of medical procedures and treatments for pediatric injury and illnesses. She has an understanding of the effects of early birth complications, such as fetal encephalopathy on later development. Dr. Best has experience completing IME's for both children and adults. Dr. Best has provided ongoing consultation on legal cases as well as expert witness testimony nationally to both defense and plaintiff attorneys.
