Additional Information

I am a American Board of Pathology board certified forensic pathologist with experience in handling a wide variety of case types, involving all manners of death. I have performed over 2700 autopsies including over 150 homicides. I bring solid training from The University of Pennsylvania and The Johns Hopkins Hospital. I am actively practicing in Rhode Island and have worked in Maryland. I have been qualified in multiple states as an expert witness in the fields of forensic pathology, postmortem toxicology interpretation, trauma interpretation, and cause and manner of death determination. I have also published in multiple peer reviewed journals on postmortem diagnoses such as infection, tumor diagnosis and toxicology. I have handled domestic and international cases for major clients including military, wrongful death of Breonna Taylor, NSA, etc. I also perform private autopsies in an effort to aid in family closure and/or litigation needs. This is can be done within a few days of hire. This process DOES NOT interfere with open casket funerals. Toxicology and other studies can also be done. Second autopsies are also performed with precision and accuracy to aid in understanding the truest results. I pride myself in providing high quality expert work with clear communication needed for successful litigation and problem solving. In addition to expert consultations to attorneys, law enforcement and other clients, I am an adjunct professor at the Boston University School of Medicine . I have given televised (CNN, MSNBC Law and Crime), radio and online interviews about various aspects of forensic pathology.
