I am a American Board of Pathology board certified forensic pathologist with experience in handling a wide variety of case types, involving all manners of death. I have performed over 1500 autopsies including over 110 homicides. I bring solid training from The University of Pennsylvania and The Johns Hopkins Hospital. I am actively practicing in Rhode Island and have worked in Maryland. I have been qualified as an expert witness in the fields of forensic pathology, postmortem toxicology interpretation, trauma interpretation, and cause and manner of death determination. I have also published in multiple peer reviewed journals on postmortem diagnoses such as infection, tumor diagnosis and toxicology. I pride myself in providing high quality expert work with clear communication needed for successful litigation and problem solving. In addition to expert consultations to attorneys, law enforcement and other clients, I am an adjunct professor at the Roger Williams University in the Criminal Justice Department. I am also an visiting lecturer at the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science at the University of New Haven. I have given televised, radio and online interviews about various aspects of forensic pathology.
