I am a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist with over 16 years experience practicing in an academic medical institution. I currently sit on the Standards of Practice Committee for the Society of Interventional Radiology, and am very involved with developing guidelines for the standard of care within my speciality. I currently serve on The Society of Interventional Radiology Standards of Practice Committee, whereby I help develop standard guidelines for nearly all the procedures that we perform. I have been involved with many expert witness consultations, and have a great deal of experience with defining the standard of care. I have expertise in nearly all Vascular and Interventional Radiology procedures, as well as most of Diagnostic Radiology. I also currently serve as the Fellowship Program Director for Interventional Radiology and have been responsible for training many successful Interventional Radiologists throughout the world. I was named a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR) in 2018. This honor, achieved by fewer than 10 percent of SIR members, is bestowed to those who have demonstrated excellence in interventional radiology by virtue of research and published works, teaching, and leadership within the field, along with contributions and involvement within the SIR.
