Additional Information

I am spine fellowship trained and have practiced a large amount of this discipline since my fellowship in 1998. My spinal expertise lies in the treatment of the cervical, thoracic and lumbosacral spine in terms of nonoperative and operative treatment, congenital, traumatic, and degenerative problems. I am comfortable in anterior, posterior and lateral approaches to the entire spine. Spine Surgery, complex and non-complex, cervical, thoracic and lumbar, including revision surgery, is my forte. I have also practiced a large amount of general orthopedics surgery since residency, concentrating on total joint replacement, arthroscopy, and fractures. I am comfortable with hip, knee and shoulder surgery and diagnosis, including trauma/fractures. I have taken general emergency room call consistently. I also routinely perform knee and shoulder arthroscopy and deal with foot and ankle problems and trauma. I have given both trial and deposition testimony in a variety of cases. My medical reports are very thorough and concise, and I try to be as responsive and timely as possible for attorneys. Medical narratives, IME’s, depositions, consultations, medical case review and advisory roles, and trial testimony are all in my armamentarium. I am willing to travel, do video or live deposition or trial testimony, personally examine and treat patients, and I have an excellent malpractice history as well. I take these cases seriously and professionalism is what we strive for. Another important point is that I am not a well worn entity in the physician medicolegal community, nor can I be seen at this point as a "hired gun" given my exposure thus far. In summary, you get a one stop shop of someone who understands the whole realm of orthopaedics and spine and tries his best to give you what you need! I look forward to hearing from you.
