Full time clinician double Board-Certified in both Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat) – Head and Neck Surgery and Sleep Medicine. Over ten years of consulting and forensic experience: expert witness for Plaintiff and Defense cases - traumatic hearing loss/dizziness, mold exposure, class-action tobacco/oil spill, medical device patent, sleep deprivation accidents, and medical malpractice. Dr. Brodner also performs VA Nexus letters, utilization and disability review, IME, and industry clinical research/R&D. National thought leader on balloon sinus surgery. Served on the Medical Advisory Board for Entellus Medical charged with developing and implementing a physician education program for teaching balloon sinus surgery to other ENT surgeons. Duties included lectures, small-group conferences, live demonstrations during surgery, webinars, and hands-on cadaver labs. Published original research on the safety and efficacy of balloon sinus surgery and presented data at numerous national meetings. Continued this work with MedTronic, IntersectENT, Sprirox, Arrinex, and Stryker ENT. Affiliate Assistant Clinical Professor, Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine, 2005-present. Practice focuses on sinus problems and sleep medicine, but treats all ENT and Sleep Medicine: allergies, sinus headache/infections, balloon sinuplasty/surgery, snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, ear infection, hearing loss, mouth sores, neck mass, sore throat, nose bleeds, and cancers of the head and neck (throat, thyroid, tongue, vocal cord, HPV-related, and sinus cancers). Diagnostics utilized: allergy testing, CT/MRI/PET scans, endoscopic examinations, biopsy, sleep study interpretations, cultures, video stroboscopy, hearing tests, and dizzy tests. Treatments and procedures: in-office ENT surgery, balloon sinuplasty; oral appliance therapy; CPAP sleep apnea therapy; allergy shots/drops, vestibular rehab, dizziness and tinnitus management.
