Dr. Finkel is an expert who works nationally specializing in aging and mental health (geriatric psychiatry). This includes contested wills, testamentary capacity, undue influence, malpractice, competency, nursing home litigation, personal injury, and criminal cases. He is the founder of the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP) and co-founder of the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA) and the American Psychiatric Association (APA) Council on Aging. Dr. Finkel is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at University of Chicago Medical School. He has over 40 years of clinical experience, has published more than 100 papers and chapters and has delivered over 1000 lectures, nationally and internationally.
