Dr. Daniel Korya is a triple board-certified neurologist with subspecialty certifications in Brain Injury Medicine, Vascular Neurology, and Neurocritical Care from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, in addition to general neurology certification. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Arizona and a Vascular Neurology & Neurocritical Care fellowship at Seton Hall University, and holds active medical licenses in eighteen states. Dr. Korya has extensive clinical leadership experience in stroke, neurocritical care, and traumatic brain injury, including serving as Director of Stroke & Neurocritical Care at Newark Beth Israel Hospital and System Director of Neuroscience & Stroke for CarePoint Health, where he oversaw inpatient and outpatient neurological care across multiple facilities. He currently serves as Co-CEO and Director of Neuroscience at Ask Health. He has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and national conference presentations on acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, and neurointerventional treatment, and has been recognized with the Young Investigator of the Year Award from the Society for Vascular and Interventional Neurology and multiple Resident Educator of the Year awards from the University of Arizona. Dr. Korya has performed a high volume of independent medical examinations and has served as a retained expert witness in personal injury litigation, where he has been relied upon to help judges and juries understand complex neurological and traumatic brain injury findings.
