Rand Manasse, CFE, is a forensic accounting, fraud examination, and financial damages expert with 40+ years of finance, accounting, and operations leadership across private equity, turnaround, and infrastructure/renewable energy organizations. He holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, and a Certificate in Private Company Governance from the Private Directors Association. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. His litigation support and consulting experience includes forensic financial reviews, fraud investigations, M&A due diligence, EBITDA and financial statement analysis, and bankruptcy/restructuring engagements, including building the financial models underlying a testifying CPA/CFE's rebuttal expert report in a $1.27 billion shareholder buyout dispute, and forensic advisory work for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee. He currently serves as Managing Partner of Green Lane Partners, a cleantech-focused private equity firm, and previously served as Chief Operating Officer of a renewable energy company overseeing 900+ solar installations. He has served on multiple private equity, infrastructure, and nonprofit boards, and mentors other directors through the Private Directors Association's board governance certification course. He is also a guest speaker on the Many Shades of Green podcast and a longtime mentor and judge for The Cleantech Open. He is available to serve as a testifying or consulting expert on matters involving fraud, financial damages, breach of fiduciary duty, corporate governance, business valuation, and renewable energy/cleantech industry standards.
