Adam C. Jones, MD — Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician Dr. Adam Jones is a board-certified emergency medicine physician in active, full-time clinical practice since completing his residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 2012. He currently practices at South Georgia Medical Center, a high-volume regional referral center, and has spent his career in busy community emergency departments across Georgia — the practice environment at issue in the majority of EM malpractice claims. Beyond the bedside, Dr. Jones has held significant leadership and teaching roles. He served as EMS Medical Director for two health systems over six years and as Medical Director of the Southwest Georgia Technical College Paramedic Program, giving him deep expertise in prehospital care, EMS protocols, and the ED-EMS interface. He is currently an adjunct professor of Emergency Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine and core faculty for the SGMC family medicine residency, where he teaches standard-of-care evaluation and management to physicians in training. His areas of expertise include standard of care in emergency medicine, resuscitation, cardiac and respiratory emergencies, neurologic emergencies, trauma, pediatric emergencies, ventilator management, and prehospital/EMS care. Dr. Jones also brings firsthand familiarity with the litigation process itself and understands what attorneys need: clear, well-supported opinions delivered on deadline. Dr. Jones is available for record review, written opinions, deposition, and trial testimony for both plaintiff and defense.
