I am a board-certified, actively practicing radiologist with fellowship training in emergency and trauma radiology at Emory University Hospital, a Level I trauma center, and a former U.S. Army Medical Corps officer. Since entering practice in 2012, I have interpreted more than 400,000 imaging examinations, reflecting extensive high-volume clinical experience. My principal medicolegal consulting areas include spine and musculoskeletal MRI, trauma imaging, neuroradiology, CT, and radiography. As an independent medical imaging consultant and expert witness, I personally review the original imaging studies—not merely the written radiology reports. I assist both plaintiff and defense counsel by providing objective, evidence-based, and defensible opinions regarding traumatic versus degenerative findings, the age and clinical significance of abnormalities, imaging causation, consistency with the reported mechanism and timing of injury, and the accuracy or completeness of prior interpretations. My experience includes evaluation of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine injuries; disc herniations; spinal and foraminal stenosis; nerve-root impingement; fractures; ligamentous injuries; postoperative findings; and a broad range of musculoskeletal abnormalities. I correlate MRI, CT, and radiographic findings with the available medical records and clinical history while remaining within the appropriate scope of radiologic expertise. I have participated in countless depositions and am experienced in explaining complex imaging findings clearly to attorneys, physicians, judges, and juries. I am available for case screening, independent image review, consultation, written reports, deposition preparation, deposition testimony, and trial testimony. My conclusions do not depend on which side retained me. My role is to identify what the imaging supports, what it does not support, and the limitations of the available evidence. Attorneys retain me for thorough image review, professional responsiveness, clear communication, and impartial opinions prepared to withstand scrutiny in consultation, deposition, and trial.
