Dr. Hamby is an extremely busy orthopaedic surgeon in Evansville, Indiana with over 20 year of private practice. He is Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at Tulane University in 2004. He has served as chief of Orthopaedics at St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville, IN. He is currently the Vice-president and managing partner of a 20 man group in Evansville, IN. He is the Director of Sports Medicine at Ascension St. Vincent's Orthopaedic Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. He is the head team physician for a Division 1 NCAA university, and many high schools in the area. He trained in Indianapolis, Atlanta and New Orleans during his medical school, internship, residency and fellowship training, and is comfortable with the standard of care with modern orthopaedic and sports medicine. He has had many years of teaching and mentoring students and residents.
