I am a board-certified anesthesiologist with advanced fellowship training and extensive clinical experience in pain management, obstetrical anesthesia, cardiac anesthesia, perioperative medicine, and regenerative medicine. Throughout my career, I have provided comprehensive anesthetic care and pain management services across diverse clinical settings while maintaining a commitment to patient safety, evidence-based medicine, and adherence to accepted standards of care. I completed my fellowship in Pain Management at the Emory University Hospital System in Atlanta, Georgia, where I received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain disorders utilizing interventional, pharmacologic, and multidisciplinary treatment approaches. I also completed a fellowship in Obstetrical Anesthesia at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, where I gained specialized expertise in the anesthetic management of labor and delivery, cesarean sections, high-risk obstetric patients, and obstetric emergencies. My experience in cardiac anesthesia was acquired through clinical practice in both Florida and California, where I provided anesthesia care for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures. This experience includes perioperative risk assessment, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, management of medically complex patients, and multidisciplinary collaboration with surgeons, cardiologists, and intensive care specialists. I completed my residency in Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where I received comprehensive training in all major subspecialties of anesthesiology. Prior to residency, I completed a pediatric internship at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio, establishing a strong clinical foundation in pediatric medicine and patient care. I earned my medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, one of Africa's premier medical institutions, recognized internationally for its rigorous medical education and distinguished physician graduates. In addition to my medical education and specialty training, I graduated from Purdue Global Law School in December 2025. My legal education enhances my understanding of medical-legal principles, standards of proof, causation analysis, healthcare regulations, and litigation processes. This combined background in medicine and law enables me to communicate complex medical issues clearly and effectively to attorneys, judges, juries, and other decision-makers while providing objective, well-reasoned, and evidence-based expert opinions. My practice experience encompasses general anesthesiology, pain medicine, obstetrical anesthesia, cardiac anesthesia, perioperative medicine, and regenerative medicine. I am knowledgeable in current standards of care, patient safety initiatives, informed consent, perioperative complications, pain management protocols, and quality assurance. As an expert witness and consultant, I provide impartial and scientifically grounded medical opinions in matters involving anesthesiology, pain management, perioperative care, obstetrical anesthesia, cardiac anesthesia, regenerative medicine, informed consent, patient safety, medical negligence, causation, and damages.
