Additional Information

I am an American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certified Nephrologist, with over 25 years of clinical experience treating kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis, and renal transplant patients. A graduate of Northwestern University's nephrology fellowship training program, I have held medical director positions at multiple dialysis units and have personal experience initiating in-hospital acute dialysis programs — giving direct insight into the operational and clinical standards governing dialysis care. I have practiced across both academic and community settings, licensed in Illinois and Missouri, and have served as a clinical instructor of nephrology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and the University of Illinois College of Medicine. As the founding physician of a regional nephrology practice in northwestern Illinois, I have built and led a practice from the ground up before relocating to a rural Missouri community, where patients have traveled significant distances to continue under my care. Known for a clear, approachable communication style, I have an established record of translating complex nephrology concepts for patients at different educational levels — a skill directly applicable to explaining medical standards of care to attorneys, judges, and juries. This combination of hands-on clinical leadership, academic teaching experience, and consistent patient-facing communication provides a well-rounded foundation for expert case review and testimony.
