Legal nurse consultant, and expert witness with nearly 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, trauma services, hospital administration, and nursing leadership. Current responsibilities include serving as the District Director of Emergency Services for a large California healthcare district with executive oversight of two high-volume emergency departments, a Level II Trauma Program, a Rapid Response Team, Base Hospital operations, and chaplain services. Executive leadership responsibilities include operational, clinical, financial, and regulatory oversight of emergency services serving more than 100,000 patient visits annually. Areas of responsibility include patient safety, quality improvement, staffing, policy development, physician collaboration, emergency preparedness, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, and strategic planning.
