With eleven industry certifications, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering, Elaad is one of the most credentialed locksmiths in the country. His expertise covers a wide range of areas in the locksmithing field. Some of the areas of his expertise are: safes and vaults, doors and frames, electricity/electronics/electrical theory, fire and life safety code and door hardware. Elaad has been a locksmith since 2004. Since 2012 he has taught for both ALOA (the national locksmith association) and SAVTA (the national safe technicians association) at the annual conventions. In addition, he has taught classes locally in the NY area. His day-to-day work in both lock shops involves custom solutions, design, parts fabrication, as well as the installation, service and repair of all types of locks, doors and frames and safes and vaults. He currently owns and operates four businesses with his brother. Two businesses are locksmith companies: Precision Lock and Safe and Walbaum Locksmiths, one is a building supply business and the fourth is a forensics and consulting business that provides their expertise to manufacturers, end users, customers, contractors as well as expert witness services.
