As a Physician Assistant with over 17 years of diverse clinical experience across in-patient, out-patient, surgical and acute care settings, I offer a comprehensive and well-rounded perspective that supports accurate, objective, and defensible medical analysis. I obtained my undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara and completed my Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies with an emphasis in Bioethics degree at Midwestern University. I continued my medical training by completing a post-graduate medical residency program in the specialty of trauma and general surgery. My clinical background includes seven years of surgical experience, including robotic-assisted procedures, in trauma, general surgery, urogynecologic surgery, and thoracic surgery. In these roles, I was actively involved in peri-operative management, intra-operative support, and post-operative care, gaining a deep understanding of surgical standards of care, complications, and clinical decision-making processes. In addition, I bring nine years of experience as a Lead PA in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and urgent care. This experience has strengthened my ability to evaluate complex clinical presentations, interpret medical records efficiently, and assess care delivery in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments. I am comfortable reviewing cases involving acute presentations, diagnostic challenges, and continuity of care across multiple settings. Throughout my career, I have worked in a wide range of healthcare environments, including large hospital systems, mid-sized medical organizations, private practices, and a medical start-up. These experiences have provided me with insight into varying standards of care, documentation practices, and operational workflows, all of which are critical when analyzing cases from a medical-legal perspective. I hold an active California Physician Assistant license and maintain certification through the NCCPA. I hold an active DEA license. I am also certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. I am committed to delivering thorough, unbiased medical record reviews, clear written reports, and, when needed, credible expert testimony. I am particularly interested in opportunities involving case review, standard-of-care analysis, and expert consultation.
