Dr. R. Brian Williams is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in Hand and Microvascular Surgery. With more than two decades of clinical experience, he specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of orthopedic and upper extremity conditions, including hand, wrist, elbow, and traumatic musculoskeletal injuries. Dr. Williams earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at Peninsula Hospital Consortium in New York. He then completed a prestigious fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Miami–Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he received advanced training in complex upper extremity reconstruction and microsurgical techniques. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Williams is a board-certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) and has held numerous leadership positions throughout his career. He has served as Chief of Staff, Chief of Surgery, Vice Chief of Staff, and Peer Review Chairman at AdventHealth North Pinellas. Nationally, he serves as a Senior Board Examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, directs its National Orthopedic Board Review Course, and has held multiple leadership roles within the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, including President of the Hand Section.
