David Negrin is a software development, video game development, and interactive media expert with professional experience spanning software engineering, game production, higher education, and digital product development. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the School of Interactive Games and Media at Rochester Institute of Technology and previously held faculty and leadership positions at the University of Central Florida, Ithaca College, Hofstra University, and The New School. Professor Negrin holds a B.S. in Computer Science and an MFA in Cinema Arts. Prior to entering academia, he spent more than a decade working in software development, information technology, testing laboratories, analytics platforms, and enterprise technology environments. His experience includes software requirements, quality assurance, Agile development, Scrum methodologies, product management, technical project management, and software development lifecycle processes. His expertise includes video game development, game design, game production, mobile applications, interactive media, virtual reality, educational technology, user experience, and digital product development. He has supervised and evaluated numerous software and game development projects from concept through production and release and is currently involved in the development of serious games and health-focused interactive applications. Professor Negrin has served as a retained expert in litigation involving technology-related matters, including preparation of expert reports, rebuttal reports, and deposition testimony. He is available for case review, consulting, expert witness services, deposition testimony, and trial testimony involving software development, video game development, interactive media, digital products, and related technology disputes.
