PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY Dr. Anuj Varshney is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS) with over 15 years of clinical experience in cervical and lumbar spine surgery. He currently practices at Kaweah Health in Visalia, California, where he performs complex spinal reconstruction, minimally invasive spine surgery, and spinal trauma management. Dr. Varshney completed his spine surgery fellowship at the University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center, one of the nation's premier Level 1 trauma centers, with combined Orthopaedic and neurosurgery training in complex spine cases. He completed his Orthopaedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where he was admitted through the Honors Program in Medical Education (HPME), an accelerated 7-year BS/MD track. He also holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. EXPERT WITNESS SERVICES Dr. Varshney provides expert witness and independent medical examination services for both plaintiff and defense attorneys in personal injury, workers' compensation, and medical malpractice matters. His opinions are shaped by the medical evidence, not the retaining party. Services include medical record review, expert reports and written opinions, independent medical examinations (IME), deposition and trial testimony (in-person or video), standard of care analysis, causation assessment, impairment ratings, and future medical cost projections.
