I am board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management and member of many professional societies locally with an PA, nationally, as well as internationally. I have a deep appreciation of the challenges of a pain management practice. My current focus is interventional pain management with various fluoroscopic guided spinal injections. In early 2023 I founded York Pain Center as its CEO and CMO. Our priority is multimodal medical pain management coordinated by a diverse staff of doctors and nurse practitioners in conjunction with my injections to best control chronic pain. We service nearly 1000 patients for medical management including narcotics. I completed my Anesthesiology training at Thomas Jefferson University in 1985. I previously earned my medical doctorate in 1980 from Hahnemann Medical College (now Drexel University) and my BA degree from Johns Hopkins University. I have been in clinical practice for more than 35 years. Early in my career I was in hospital practice primarily providing anesthesia services in the operating room, as well as some pain management. Thereafter, from 1994 - 2008 Dr. Brajer was the Vice Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology and Medical Director of the Frank J Tornetta School of Nurse Anesthesia at the Montgomery Hospital Medical Center in Norristown PA where in 1996 I was the founding director of the Montgomery Pain Center. Since 2008, I been private practice devoting 100% of my professional time to Interventional Pain Management. In my career I have given nearly 100,000 spinal and other injections including virtually all currently approved and accepted interventional pain management injections and procedures on the entire spine and major joints, PRP and stem cells and exosome injections, sympathetic blocks for CRPS / RSD, SGB injection for PTSD and spinal cord stimulator trials. All injections are done under local anesthesia in our fluoroscopy suites.
