Dr. Laurent Ganry, MD, MSc, FEBOMFS, is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Head & Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgeon practicing in New York. He serves as an Attending Physician in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Head & Neck Surgery, Facial Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Northwell Health and as Associate Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Ganry completed advanced fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Florida and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Harvard Medical School. He also completed specialized training in Supermicrosurgery and Lymphedema Surgery at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine in Tokyo, Japan. His clinical practice focuses on Head and Neck Cancer Surgery, Head and Neck Reconstruction, Facial Reconstruction, Facial Trauma, Mandibular Reconstruction, Microvascular Reconstruction, and Free Flap Surgery. He routinely manages complex oncologic, reconstructive, and facial soft tissue defects requiring multidisciplinary care and advanced surgical decision-making. Dr. Ganry has extensive experience in mandibular and midface reconstruction, orbital reconstruction, facial nerve injury management, salivary gland surgery, skin cancer surgery, facial feminization surgery, rhinoplasty, facelift surgery, and facial aesthetic surgery. He is also recognized for his expertise in virtual surgical planning, computer-assisted surgery, and innovative reconstructive techniques. Dr. Ganry has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in Head and Neck Oncology, Facial Reconstruction, Microsurgery, and Virtual Surgical Planning. He previously served as Deputy Editor of the Journal of Craniomaxillofacial Trauma & Reconstruction and is a frequent invited speaker at national and international scientific meetings.
