Mr. Christopher Banbury (PE, PEng) is a structural engineer and partner with Arete Forensics. Christopher specializes in civil and structural design as well as service as an expert for accidents, trips, slips, falls, collapses, construction vibration, explosion damage, equipment failures, product liability, foundation failures, flooding, termite damage, moisture damage, building science, and construction defects. Christopher is a trained and certified Army Corp of Engineers, Structures Specialist (StS1). He has served with Canada Task Force 2 (CAN-TF2), a national Heavy Urban Search and Rescue team allied with the Alberta Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS). He has deployed to provide structural bridge and building evaluations during the 2013 Calgary Flood, and disaster response during the 2014 Calgary Snowstorm and 2016 Fort McMurray Wildfire. Christopher is licensed to practice in Florida and Alberta, Canada. Christopher has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a BS in Physics from Western Kentucky University.
