Dr. Shirish Amrutia, MD, FCCP, is a quadruple board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine with over 15 years of clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings in the Atlanta area. He manages complex respiratory and critical illness, including acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), sepsis, and respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation. His practice also includes chronic pulmonary diseases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease (ILD), pulmonary embolism, lung nodules, and lung cancer, as well as sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and narcolepsy. Dr. Amrutia serves as Medical Director of a hospital sleep laboratory and participates in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine oversight committees.
