I'm a board-certified psychiatrist and child psychiatrist with 15 years of experience evaluating families in complex custody and visitation matters. I completed my Adult Psychiatry training at Chicago Medical School in 2008 and my fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center in 2010. I worked at Illinois Masonic Medical Center where I was the Medical Director of our inpatient unit, the Vice chair of the Department of Psychiatry and the director of medical education for students from Rosalind Franklin University at our hospital. I also consulted on Pediatric patients on the Pediatrics floor, presented grand rounds to both the pediatrics and OB-Gyne departments. I also worked closely with the Consult and Liaison team in the hospital. I also have experience in working as an independent medical examiner for BHM where I conducted peer reviews and documentation reviews. I have been in private practice since 2011 and have two practice locations, one in Chicago, IL and another in Westmont, IL. I provide expert witness services including:. • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children and parents • Assessment of parenting capacity and child safety • Expert testimony on developmental needs and attachment • Review of opposing expert opinions My dual board certification allows me to assess the entire family system from both adult and child psychiatric perspectives.
