More than 30 years of security/risk management experience as a 25-year FBI Special Agent, Crisis Management Coordinator, Chief Security Officer (CSO), Supervisory Special Agent, and Chief of the FBI's National CSO Program, corporate security executive, and Senior Director of Security for one of the largest houses of worship in the United States. Real-world, operationally proven command experience leading tactical operations and responses to active shooter, explosive threats, and terror related incidents. Developed security plans to protect assets at more than 1,000 banks, at Major Special Events (Super Bowl, Final Four, MLB All Star game, College Football Playoff National Championship game) and spectators, including thousands weekly at a church with a 16,500 seat capacity. Exemplary compliance record across nationally recognized programs and credited with multiple new best business practices as Super Bowl LI’s Coordinator. Achieved the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation — the highest board certification in security management by ASIS International — and a Master of Science in Security Management. Developed extensive expertise in the protection of assets, mitigating threats, and conducting risk assessments, crisis command, and the design of defensible security programs, including serving as the FBI’s Super Bowl LI Coordinator. This foundation equips me to provide authoritative analysis as an expert witness and security consultant, particularly in evaluating standards of reasonable care and the foreseeability of harm in premises liability matters. As Senior Director of Security for Joel Osteen Ministries and Lakewood Church, I designed and implemented layered physical security and executive protection programs while providing direct command during an active shooter incident (February 2024), an explosive threat (December 2024), a terror-related incident (August 2025), and arrests of threatening persons, involving sexual predators (date) and a dangerous, violent criminal (date). This expertise was further developed as Corporate Regional Security Director for PNC Financial Services, where I oversaw physical security operations across more than 1,000 banking locations, ATMs, and corporate offices and directed the enterprise-wide conversion of 490 acquired branches. Managing risk, regulatory compliance, and large-scale standardization at this level has prepared me to assess security program adequacy against industry benchmarks and deliver objective, fact-based opinions on liability and foreseeability for organizations and legal teams. These operational experiences—combined with my Master of Security Management (MSM) degree and Certified Protection Professional (CPP) credential—enable me to deliver practical, tested insights. I have served as an expert witness in multiple premises liability cases and provided deposition testimony, drawing upon the full scope of my background to offer clear and defensible analysis for clients and counsel.
