Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with extensive experience in high-acuity emergency and urgent care settings. I currently serve as the founder, owner, and medical director of a high-volume urgent care center in Southern California, where I am actively involved in patient care, clinical operations, and physician supervision. My clinical experience spans both emergency departments and urgent care environments, providing a comprehensive understanding of real-world triage, risk stratification, diagnostic decision-making, and disposition practices. My expertise includes evaluation and management of chest pain, stroke, sepsis, trauma, abdominal pain, orthopedic injuries, respiratory complaints, and infectious diseases. I have particular insight into urgent care standards of care, including appropriate patient selection, escalation to higher levels of care, and common pitfalls in outpatient and emergency settings. I am experienced in identifying deviations from accepted standards of care, assessing causation, and evaluating documentation and clinical decision-making in time-sensitive conditions. I have evaluated and treated tens of thousands of patients and am well-versed in both routine and complex presentations. My background includes work across multiple hospital systems and urgent care networks, allowing me to compare practice patterns and standards across diverse clinical environments. In addition to clinical practice, I have experience in supervising advanced practice providers, implementing clinical protocols, and ensuring quality and compliance within a fast-paced care delivery model. Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: failure to diagnose or delayed diagnosis (including myocardial infarction, stroke, sepsis, appendicitis, and fractures), improper discharge or failure to escalate care, urgent care and emergency department malpractice, medication errors, procedural complications, and personal injury evaluations. I am also familiar with documentation standards, informed consent, and appropriate follow-up and return precautions. I am available for medical record review, case analysis, written reports, depositions, and trial testimony. I work with both plaintiff and defense attorneys and strive to provide objective, thorough, and timely opinions grounded in current standards of care and practical clinical experience. Medical licensure and certifications are current. Additional details regarding training, certifications, and case experience are available upon request.
