Dr. Mintz has over 22 years of experience in private practice as a board-certified clinical endocrinologist in New Jersey. She is highly skilled in the management of complex, chronic endocrine conditions including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid cancer and thyroid nodules, thyroid dysfunction, obesity, osteoporosis, hypoglycemia and disorders involving the adrenal glands, parathyroid glands and pituitary gland. She is certified to perform thyroid ultrasounds as well as fine needle aspiration biopsies of the thyroid and has extensive experience interpreting insulin pump reports and continuous glucose monitoring reports. In addition, she has expertise in the use of GLP-1 type drugs for diabetes and obesity. Dr. Mintz is an active member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and the Endocrine Society. She enjoys teaching students and residents who regularly rotate through her practice, and annually lectures local EMTs on endocrine emergencies. Dr. Mintz is available to provide expert witness and consulting services for both plaintiff and defense matters.
