10Additional Information
Automotive Expert Witness focused on identifying negligent repair, mechanical failure, and diesel engine damage—clearly establishing what went wrong and why. specializing in mechanical failure analysis, engine failure, and negligent or improper vehicle repair. I assist attorneys in determining whether repair facilities, dealerships, technicians, or fleet operators met the accepted automotive standard of care when diagnosing and repairing vehicles. My work focuses on identifying the technical cause of vehicle failures and demonstrating when improper repair practices, diagnostic errors, or repair shop negligence contributed to mechanical damage. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology from Pittsburg State University, home to one of the most nationally recognized Automotive Technology programs in the United States. The Pittsburg State automotive program has built a strong reputation throughout the industry for producing highly trained professionals who go on to leadership roles in dealership operations, manufacturer technical support, engineering organizations, and OEM service programs. The program’s rigorous focus on diagnostics, real-world vehicle systems, and manufacturer repair procedures provides graduates with a deep understanding of automotive systems and mechanical failure analysis. My academic training included an emphasis in diesel and heavy equipment systems, providing a strong technical foundation in diesel engine operation, mechanical diagnostics, and system-level troubleshooting. This background allows me to analyze complex mechanical failures and determine whether damage resulted from component failure, improper repair, incorrect diagnostics, or failure to follow manufacturer procedures. I bring more than 15 years of experience working within the automotive industry, including dealership service support, parts operations, and close collaboration with technicians and service departments. This experience provides practical insight into how repairs are actually performed, documented, and billed in both dealership and independent repair environments. Because of this real-world experience, I am often able to identify when proper diagnostic procedures were not followed or when manufacturer repair standards were not met. As an Automotive Expert Witness, I evaluate cases involving mechanical failure analysis, diesel engine failure, improper vehicle repair, and repair shop negligence. I review service records, repair orders, technician documentation, and diagnostic procedures to determine whether accepted industry practices and the automotive standard of care were followed. When deviations occur—such as improper diagnostics, incorrect parts installation, or incomplete repair verification—I provide clear, well-supported opinions regarding the cause of the failure and whether negligence contributed to the damage. In litigation, technical credibility and clear communication are critical. I provide objective, evidence-based analysis and deliver clear testimony that helps attorneys explain complex automotive failures to judges and juries. My goal is to present technically sound opinions that establish the facts, support strong legal arguments, and help attorneys effectively demonstrate what went wrong and why. Expert witness services include case merit review, mechanical failure analysis, repair shop negligence evaluation, service record review, written expert reports, vehicle inspections, deposition testimony, and trial testimony.
