Dr. Andruska is a physician-scientist with extensive experience in the field of Neurology, specializing in Movement Disorders (e.g. Parkinson's disease, tremor, dystonia, and related diagnoses). She is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and an expert in deep brain stimulation, therapeutic toxin injections, and other advanced therapies. She earned her BA from the University of Texas at Austin and her MD and PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics from the University of Minnesota with a prestigious Kirschstein Fellowship. Her doctoral research focused on the genetic and biochemical factors of neurodegenerative disease. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and Neurology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University. She completed her Movement Disorders Fellowship at Stanford University. Today, this expert is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and stays active in her field as a member of various professional organizations including the American Academy of Neurology and the International Parkinson’s and Movement Disorder Society. Formerly, she was the Medical Director and head of clinical research at The Parkinson's Institute and Clinical Center and the Senior Medical Director of Clinical Neuroscience at Adaptive Research. Currently she is a practicing physician, the Founder and CEO of the California Movement Disorders Center, a consultant at Stanford University, and the Cofounder and Chief Medical Officer of Olivo Sciences. She has successfully testified to general and specific causation in numerous cases involving toxic exposures, injury, and drug & device litigation.
