I worked in the consumer goods industry for 19 of my 30+ years in engineering, with extensive experience in the design and testing of consumer products. Knowledge expert for all major clothes dryer and washer/dryer combo types (electric, gas, heat pump, and condensing), including airflow systems, centrifugal fan design, lint collection systems, lint deposit problems, household dryer exhaust venting systems, heater element design, thermal control systems, refrigerant circuits, and dryer cycle controls. Experience in both reactive field safety investigations and proactive hazard assessments.
