Additional Information

I am board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, and by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS) in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Vascular Neurology, and Sleep Medicine. My full-time practice is in the Atlanta, GA area but I am also licensed in Pennsylvania, New York, North Dakota and Hawaii and I am willing to travel or teleconference for select cases. I am a board-certified adult neurologist with extensive experience evaluating patients with neurologic symptoms following motor vehicle accidents and other traumatic injuries. My practice focuses on headache and migraine disorders, post-concussion symptoms, neck and back pain, radiculopathy, and peripheral nerve conditions. A substantial portion of my work involves independent medical examinations (IMEs), medical record reviews, and causation analyses related to automobile accidents, personal injury, disability, and insurance matters. I routinely assess the relationship between reported symptoms and objective neurologic findings, including the interpretation of EMG and nerve conduction studies when appropriate. My approach emphasizes clear, practical opinions grounded in clinical neurology rather than advocacy. I focus on functional impact, consistency of symptoms over time, alternative explanations, and the distinction between acute injury, pre-existing conditions, and degenerative changes. I am comfortable addressing common issues such as post-traumatic headache versus primary migraine, cervical and lumbar radiculopathy, soft tissue injury, and the neurologic relevance of imaging findings. I provide concise, well-reasoned written reports that are accessible to attorneys, claims professionals, and non-medical audiences. I aim to be efficient, timely, and responsive, with a preference for record-based opinions and IMEs that resolve questions without unnecessary escalation. Deposition and trial testimony are available when needed, though many matters are resolved based on written opinions alone. I am licensed in multiple states and regularly perform remote record reviews in addition to in-person examinations. My goal is to assist counsel and insurers by providing objective neurologic opinions that help clarify causation, functional limitations, and prognosis in a fair and medically sound manner. I also have experience reviewing select matters involving acute ischemic stroke and intravenous thrombolytic therapy (tPA/alteplase), including questions related to time of onset, last known well, and standard of care. These cases are accepted selectively and typically on a focused record-review basis rather than as high-volume litigation work.
