Board-certified neurologist with over 15 years of combined clinical, academic, and leadership experience in comprehensive neurologic care, neurophysiology, and concussion and traumatic brain injury management. I have significant experience as a Qualified Medical Evaluator in California, with a strong record in the performance of independent, objective, and medically defensible medico-legal evaluations. My work emphasizes precise neurologic diagnosis, rigorous causation analysis, impairment determination, apportionment, work capacity assessment, and future medical care recommendations in accordance with the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Fifth Edition. My background includes active involvement in professional sports neurology, including service as an NFL Brain and Body Neurologist, providing specialized expertise in concussion, repetitive head injury, and long-term neurologic outcomes in athletes. I also have extensive experience in clinical research, having served as a sub-investigator in multiple national and international clinical trials, contributing to the advancement of neurologic standards of care.
