Additional Information

I am a board-certified physician with over 15 years of clinical experience in infertility care, in vitro fertilization (IVF), assisted reproductive technology, and early pregnancy management. I currently serve as Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Fertility Center and Founder and Director of the Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I am also an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I have extensive experience in the evaluation and management of infertility, IVF protocols, ovarian stimulation, ovulation induction, embryo transfer, pregnancy loss, recurrent miscarriage, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, fertility preservation, and ovarian reserve testing. My clinical expertise includes complex decision-making, protocol selection, patient counseling, risk management, and standard-of-care assessment in both outpatient and academic medical settings. I have reviewed and consulted on malpractice cases involving fertility treatment, assisted reproduction, early pregnancy care, and related complications. I am available for case record review, written expert opinions, depositions, and trial testimony for both plaintiff and defense matters. I completed fellowship training at Harvard Medical School–affiliated institutions (Boston IVF/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center) and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Abington Memorial Hospital. I received my MD from Drexel University College of Medicine and an MSc from Georgetown University, and I earned my undergraduate degree from Cornell University. I am board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and hold subspecialty certification in infertility. I am actively involved in medical education and regularly teach medical students, residents, and fellows. I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and invited lectures in infertility, IVF outcomes, pregnancy loss, and reproductive endocrinology–related topics. I have served as an editor and peer reviewer for major medical journals and am a frequent presenter at national scientific meetings. I hold active medical licenses in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, DC. My background combines high-volume clinical practice, academic medicine, leadership roles, and scholarly work, allowing me to provide clear, well-supported expert opinions grounded in current standards of care.
