Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained and actively practicing orthopedic surgeon, completing over 300 elective and traumatic orthopaedics cases annually. Clinical practice includes general orthopaedics with a focus on shoulder and elbow conditions including complex fracture, arthroplasty and tendon and ligament repairs. He is also active in orthopaedic trauma taking level 2 trauma call at multiple hospitals and is experience with a variety of traumatic injuries including motor vehicle collisions and work related injuries. Available to provide expert opinion, testimony, or medical-legal consultation in all areas of orthopaedic surgery excluding spine surgery. Extensive experience in standard of care, causation, damages, and need for future care regarding traumatic injuries. Provides expert testimony for Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, Medical Malpractice, and cases of Physician Competence, including depositions and testimony in both plaintiff and defense cases for malpractice matters. Thorough imaging review (X-ray, MRI, CT scan) and expedited turnaround will be provided as needed. Has reviewed an extensive breadth of medical-legal matters as they relate to orthopaedic injuries and surgery and provided written opinion in over 70 cases nationwide. Dr. Lorenzetti has trained in all areas of orthopedic surgery at top institutions around the country, including orthopaedic extremity fracture care, cutting edge minimally invasive arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery, anatomic and reverse shoulder replacement, and motion-preserving procedures. In addition to several authored publications and book chapters peer-reviewed journals and regular reviewed articles for the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow surgery.
