Dr. Eldad Einav, MD, FACC, is a board‑certified cardiologist, diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Licensed in California, Florida, New York, and Nevada, he has over 20 years of experience in cardiology, obesity medicine, cardiometabolic health, and echocardiography. Dr. Einav is a nationally recognized expert on the safety, efficacy, and complications of anti‑obesity medications, including GLP‑1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy), tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound), and other pharmacologic therapies including phentermine, Contrave, and Qsymia. He has served as Medical Director of weight management and cardiometabolic health programs in both hospital and outpatient settings, and is deeply knowledgeable about standards of care, weight‑loss pharmacotherapy, obesity‑related cardiac complications, medication‑induced cardiac injury, failure‑to‑diagnose cardiovascular disease, and echocardiography interpretation. Dr. Einav completed his cardiovascular fellowship at NYU School of Medicine, residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and earned his MD with honors from the Hebrew University–Hadassah Medical School. He holds Level III echocardiography certification, has led award‑winning research and program design in cardiometabolic and obesity care, and continues to teach, lecture, and consult through his role as CEO of Cardiometabolic Health and as Clinical Assistant Professor.
