In this role, he manages non psychiatric medical conditions and medical issues for patients admitted under psychiatric care, while psychiatric diagnoses and treatment are handled by the psychiatric attending. Dr. Wolfson has also served as Medical Director for a home health agency for 15 years, with experience reviewing and overseeing home health plans of care, skilled nursing services, certification requirements, documentation, chronic disease management, and physician supervision of care delivered in the home setting. He served as a peer reviewer for the Georgia Composite Medical Board, offering expert opinions on standard of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
