With over two decades of experience as a Board-Certified psychiatrist, I have dedicated my career to understanding and addressing the complexities of mental health. Over the course of 22 years, I have honed my expertise across a variety of settings, including hospitals and clinics, ensuring a comprehensive and multifaceted approach to patient care. Having worked as a consulting psychiatrist in medical-surgical hospitals for 20 years, I also have extensive knowledge of patients who are medically as well as psychiatrically complicated. I have also worked in academia while serving as Chair of the Department of Psychiatry for the Osteopathic Medical School in Kansas City, Missouri. Additonally, I have served as Medical Director with extensive expertise in leading inpatient psychiatric hospitals and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) delivering exceptional care and innovative program management. For the past 18 years, I have specialized in providing expert witness opinions in legal matters, drawing upon my extensive knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), chronic pain, suicide and depression. My ability to present clear, evidence-based opinions has been instrumental in numerous legal cases, helping to inform and guide judicial decisions. I have provided expert opinions for both plaintiff and defense counsel. Many of the clients I have worked with are First Responders. I have also been retained as an expert in over 2 dozen cases of PTSD associated with Boarding School abuse.
