My name is Dr. Naren Vellanki. I am currently working as an inpatient psychiatrist at Orlando Health in Orlando, FL. I treat both children and adults who are admitted to the psychiatric unit either on a baker act or on a voluntary basis. I provide diagnosis and treatment for patients including psychotropic medications for patients suffering from a variety of conditions including Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Educational background: I obtained my bachelor’s degree in finance at the Ohio State University in 2011. I completed my masters degree in biomedical science and doctor of medicine degree (M.D) at University of Toledo in 2012 and 2016 respectively. I completed my residency and fellowship in general psychiatry and pediatric psychiatry at University of Louisville in 2019 and 2021 respectively. I have over eight years of experience as a psychiatrist. I am double board certified in general psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry. I am licensed to practice in Kentucky and Florida.
