Curtis Beloy, PE DFE is an expert on vehicle accidents and mechanical failures. He has 20 years of experience as a full-time consultant to the legal industry. His projects include reconstruction of collisions involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, off-road vehicles, and electric mobility equipment. He uses state-of-the-industry tools for crash data retrieval, evidence documentation, digital video analysis, physics-based simulations, and full-scale testing. Mr. Beloy has extensive experience with powersport vehicles (such as motorcycles, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, ATVs, and side-by-sides). He is an expert-level motorcycle racer, instructor, and mechanic. His projects have included durability testing of ATV products across climates in Bolivia, developing products in collaboration with professional motorcycle racing teams, investigating ATV accidents at the US/Mexico border, and evaluating the largest product recalls pertaining to motorcycles and ATVs for OEM clients. Mr. Beloy holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Professional Engineering licensure, and he is a board-certified Diplomate Forensic Engineer by the CESB. He is an active member of industry societies, and he is an experienced expert witness and instructor.
