Dr. Han is a board-certified neuropsychologist who specializes in providing neuropsychological services for individuals 18+ with acquired brain injuries including TBI/Concussion, stroke, hypoxic/anoxic injuries, epilepsy, neurodegenerative conditions/dementia, and/or associated neuropsychiatric conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety and PTSD. In addition to clinical services, Dr. Han is also a SEAK-trained consulting neuropsychologist who provides assessments to identify cognitive, behavioral, and emotional changes associated with the neurological/neuropsychiatric conditions. Neuropsychological evaluations can be provided within the context of Independent Medical Evaluations (IME), Worker’s Compensation and Disability Evaluations. Dr. Han received her practicum, internship and post-doctoral fellowship training in clinical psychology and neuropsychology at VA Palo Alto Health Care Systems, NYU Langone Rusk Rehabilitation, and MedStar National Rehabilitation Network. She worked in both urban metropolitan and suburban rural areas serving a variety of clinical populations. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Her private practice is located in Ellicott City, Maryland. She is licensed in Maryland and Virginia, and is willing to travel to PsyPact States (https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap) where she is authorized to provide clinical and telehealth services. Aside from private practice, Dr. Han is passionate in research and community education. She contributed to the 2nd edition of the ACRM Cognitive Rehabilitation Manuel and Textbook (published in 2022). She also collaborated with Alzheimer’s Association – National Capital Area and other local nonprofit organizations (CCACC and CACHS) and provided 25+ presentations in English and Mandarin to local community groups regarding brain injury and dementia.
