I have over 45 years of experience in all aspects the meat/poultry and food processing industry, including serving in every level of management including line worker, Supervisor, General Manager, V. Pres., Sr. V. Pres., Exec. V. Pres., Chief Oper. Officer, President, Chief Exec. Officer, Board Member, Board Vice Chair, Board Chairman and owner. My direct functional experience is exceptionally broad spanning live animal operations, commodity markets, grain purchasing, feed milling, hatcheries, slaughter & basic processing, cooking & further processing operations, wastewater processing, facility maintenance, packaging, refrigeration & freezer mgt., sales, marketing, advertising, distribution, transportation, logistics, cost & managerial accounting, finance, and banking. I have overseen production operations and sales into virtually every marketing channel including wholesale clubs, retail grocery chains, institutional distributors, foodservice for casual dining and fast-food restaurants, export markets and commodity trading. I have overseen national brand name product lines, regional brands, private label products, and pure commodities. I have advised and run large ($100 mil.+) non-profits, and managed and advised political campaigns for congress and U.S. President. The companies I have led span from start-up entities to multi-hundred-million-dollar private companies, to multi-billion dollar publicly traded companies. I have participated in funding "road shows" nationally and internationally for public debt and equity offerings. I have served in the role of a "turnaround" manager on multiple occasions. I have a keen understanding of finance, banking, and accounting; executive compensation in public and closely held private companies; and contracting & business ethics. I have excellent written and verbal presentation skills which have served me well as an expert witness, confidential consulting expert, and testifying expert. I am also an experienced public speaker, former radio and television program host, and political strategist. My work outside of the meat and food processing industry includes strategic consulting for local and national political campaigns, as well for some of the largest faith-based non-profit ministries in the U.S. I am an analytical thinker who is exceptionally good at identifying and framing key issues in a persuasive and easy to understand manner. I am credible and have an exceptional track record for integrity. I am an energetic and tireless worker who is focused on adding value for my clients while never misrepresenting any fact or issue in a deceptive manner. I have written the bulk of the factual elements of multiple state and federal court briefs, including briefs to the 5th Circuit Federal Appeals Court. My work as an expert includes cases involving federal Packers and Stockyards legislation, Sherman Anti-trust Act disputes, federal bankruptcy, and SEC violations. I have a level 2 national security clearance issued by DOD for DOJ.
