Dr. Moss is a physician in Utah with board certification in medical toxicology, addiction medicine, and emergency medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology. He serves as medical director of the Utah Poison Control Center and has faculty appointments in Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, and Pharmacy at the University of Utah. He provides adult and pediatric toxicology consultation at the University of Utah Hospital and Primary Children's Hospital. He also practices addiction medicine at the University of Utah treating substance use disorder including alcohol, methamphetamine, opioids, and benzodiazepines. Dr. Moss consults on both civil and criminal cases related to toxicology testing, interpretation, impairment, intoxication and the effects of drugs and medications: -Drugs of abuse (e.g. heroin, opioids, fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana) -Alcohol (ethanol) impairment, intoxication and BAC interpretation -DUI/DWI -Urine drug screen testing interpretation -Medication overdose -Chemical exposures -Heavy metals -Bites, stings, and envenomations -Adverse drug reactions -Environmental exposures (carbon monoxide, workplace exposures)
