Joe Donlevy has worked in Commercial Banking for over 23 years. As Principal of Filmore Capital, he arranges commercial loans for business owners and commercial real estate investors. His clients benefit from his extensive background in originating, analyzing, pricing, and approving $1B+ in commercial loans. He was Honorably Discharged from the USMC-Reserves and then completed the prestigious Management Development Program at BB&T (Truist). He became a top-performing Commercial Banker at Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Because of his success in closing commercial loans for his clients, he was asked to lead a team of Commercial Bankers, which became one of the leading banking teams in the company. Subsequently, Joe was promoted to Manager and SVP of the Southeast Commercial Real Estate Team for Wells Fargo, the largest Commercial Real Estate Lender in the country. His team served professional real estate investors with transaction requests from $2MM to $20MM in retail, industrial, multifamily, self-storage, office, and special-use income-producing properties. More recently, he was an Executive VP for Iberiabank (First Horizon), a $100B bank in assets. He led a Denovo market expansion as Charlotte Market President and Commercial Banking Leader until its merger of equals. Also, Joe previously served as SVP and National SBA Product Manager for Bank of America. During his tenure Bank of America was the largest SBA Lender in the country as measured by the volume of loans made. He oversaw the $1B portfolio. In addition to sourcing financing, he has served as an Expert Witness in Commercial Lending, SBA Lending, and the Paycheck Protection Program(PPP). Also, he has presented to various groups of business owners and commercial real estate investors, including Vistage, Wake Forest Center for Entrepreneurship, and CEO Focus, as well as others. Topics of discussion included commercial lending qualifications, sources of capital, and the Paycheck Protection Program(PPP). Charlotte is his home. In his free time, Joe enjoys volunteering and supporting community organizations. He also enjoys international travel and has visited over 30 countries.
