Additional Information

I am Board-certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and General Pediatrics with 38 years of clinical, administrative, teaching, and medical expert witness experience. I have been licensed in 12 states. I attended the University of Missouri School of Medicine - Columbia, MO. My pediatric residency training was completed at Texas Children's Hospital, a Baylor-affiliated residency program. I have served as a pediatric emergency department medical director for several large healthcare organizations. I have currently dedicated 100% of my professional time to medical education activities and to expert witness services. My goal is to provide thorough and timely reviews for attorneys with an emphasis on standard of care requirements including any possible deviation that could contribute to liability. I have done work for both counsels for the plaintiff and the defense, and remain selective in the cases I choose to represent. Prior to becoming listed with SEAK, all requests for expert witness services occurred by referral from legal firms with whom I had previously worked. My success rate is very good and I hope to continue to serve the medical and legal communities in this manner. I will complete a thorough and detailed analysis of all medical records. I will search for and organize the relevant supporting medical literature. I will use strong communication and teaching skills to present my findings to your team and provide strategic advice if asked. My experience working in different practice settings and in different states will hopefully provide to you someone with the capacity to evaluate different perspectives of pediatric care. My integrity, honesty, and ability to teach medicine to a jury will likely provide a very strong representation of your firm's goals for success.
