Dr. Johnson is a Board-Certified pediatric hospitalist with over 10 years experience as a clinician and medical educator. A pediatric hospitalist is a physician who specializes in the care of hospitalized children. His current practice includes providing pediatric hospitalist care in a highly populated urban setting. Dr. Johnson teaches medical students, and residents in a pediatric inpatient setting at Children's Hospital of the Kings' Daughters in Virginia as an Associate Professor. Dr. Johnson is currently a medical director of two medical-surgical floors in the hospital. Dr. Johnson has expertise in all aspects of pediatric hospital medicine. He is very comfortable with many aspects of multidisciplinary care. He has worked with many other specialists including surgery, urology, endocrinology, pulmonology, and gastroenterology to name a few. Dr. Johnson also has expertise in managing patients with chronic and complex medical conditions.
