Dr. Archer is board-certified in pediatric cardiology and general pediatrics, with experience both as a rural general pediatric cardiologist and as an attending pediatric cardiologist at a large academic center. His special expertise includes: general outpatient pediatric cardiology, inpatient pediatric cardiology including preoperative and postoperative care, fetal echocardiography and diagnosis, sports cardiology including return-to-play and sports clearance, pediatric pulmonary hypertension, and chest wall abnormalities (pectus excavatum and carinatum). He is the pediatric cardiology editor for a leading online clinical reference tool, and a reviewer for multiple scientific journals. He was educated at Princeton University (BA with highest honors) and the University of Florida (MD with honors, and MS in Health Outcomes and Policy). He consults and testifies for plaintiff's and defense counsel as well as independent organizations.
