Dr. Carvajal is one of the few psychologists in the USA who holds two psychology Ph.D. degrees from prestigious academic institutions (University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University). He is fully fluent in Spanish and understands the Latino market, since he arrived to the USA when he was 16 from Venezuela. Dr. Carvajal considers himself a practitioner, academic, and researcher. It is important to understand that some psychologists are inherently better than others at conducting and completing psychological evaluations. I conduct criminal, civil, and administrative evaluations of all types including personal injury, workers compensation, incompetent to stand trial, not guilty by reason of insanity, immigration evaluations, POST evaluations etc. I find it that psychologists who conduct evaluations across criminal, civil, and administrative law settings gain from using information in one setting and applying it to a different setting.
