Jon is a Senior Managing Consultant at iDS with over 18 years of experience helping clients resolve critical data driven operational and legal challenges. He specializes in applying leading data analytics methodologies to transform raw data into actionable intelligence – leveraging a deep understanding of relational databases, data visualization, statistical modeling, and domain expertise. Jon has delivered analytics solutions to both federal and commercial clients, spanning the areas of financial services, retail, transportation, life sciences, and national security. For the past 5 years, Jon has worked within iDS’ Structured Data and Analytics (SDA) practice where he routinely assists and guides clients in how best to use large datasets in the context of litigation, disputes, and investigations. In this capacity, Jon has worked in both a consulting role and an expert role; and has directly contributed to deliverables used in the context of settlement and mediation discussions, discovery obligations, and expert reports and declarations. These projects have spanned a variety of legal domains including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance, theft of intellectual property, product defect/liability and complaints, anti-trust/price fixing, environmental hazard, data-breach/cyber investigations, and trademark infringement. Prior to joining iDS, Jon spent 7 years working at Deloitte Advisory within their Federal Data Analytics practice. While at Deloitte, he helped lead an award-winning project team that developed and deployed a data analytics enterprise fraud detection platform for a large federal agency. Before his time at Deloitte, Jon spent 5 years working at FTI Consulting within their Life Sciences practice. While there, Jon worked on a variety of data intensive projects related to high profile litigation impacting healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. Jon has a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Business, and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the George Washington University School of Business.
