Dr. Abubacker graduated in 1999 with a medical degree and has a 10-year experience practicing Internal Medicine. Dr. Abubacker pursued further specialization by completing a Nephrology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and he has been serving as a Nephrologist with privileges at a tertiary hospital with a kidney transplant unit for over a decade. Dr. Abubacker is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His expertise in Nephrology encompasses a broad range of patient care, including glomerulonephritis, vasculitis, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, electrolyte disorders, management of kidney transplant, acute and chronic kidney failure, and the management of various kidney disease complications.
